Happening from 22nd – 24th June (Summer Solstice) in the spectacular grounds of Ballinlough Castle, Co. Westmeath, Body & Soul promises to be an enchanting weekend for all those in attendance.


Camping facilities are available for those planning a weekend outing while Sunday-only festival goers can also join the party.


Perfect for the individual who enjoys the more intimate gatherings, this festival maintains a  wonderful boutique feeling throughout.


In addition to music, Body & Soul boasts a Santuary, focusing on wellbeing, and designated areas for Arts and Culture, Kids activities, Food and Blind Dates.

Friday 22nd June


Fever Ray

Fever Ray AKA Karin Dreijer performs and curates at the Body & Soul stage, her music is electronic pop faceted with darkness, resulting in a hauntingly beautiful experience for the senses.

Hatchlings can make you feel many emotions while listening to their music whether it’s the pensive yet upbeat “Sexy B” or the beautifully retro “Choir in the belly of a falling bird”, this accomplished group take inspiration from numerous genres and produce a wonderfully distinctive sound.

The Altered Hours

Mesmerising guitars give way to multiple vocals for this psychedelic-sounding Irish band, superbly evident on their track “ Dig Early” .

Fontaines DC

This five – piece hailing from Dublin City merge sharp lyrics with catchy guitar and drum sounds, while singer Grian Chatten’s expressive vocals, further perfected by his Dublin accent, give this band an air of nonchalant realism that few can pull off. An absolute must see.

Le Boom

This duo span multiple genres with their sound, including electronic, pop and indie. Having created a buzz in the US with stunning debut “What we do”, the band have recently gone one to release a second single, the equally well-received “Coma”.

Saturday 23rd June


Saint Sister

The fantastic atmosfolk duo of Gemma Doherty and Morgan MacIntyre continue to impress with evocative new track “Twin Peaks”, blending magnificent harmonies with harp and keyboard arrangements. Previous offerings include “Madrid” and “Blood moon”, don’t miss seeing this band.

Pillow Queens

Delightfully powerful vocals from Pillow Queens, their Irish accents a prominent feature of their sound which further strengthens their unique style of music. Tracks such as “Favourite” and “Rats” demonstrate this group’s flair for coupling an infectious guitar riff with memorable lyrics.

Electronic music producer Bantum has collaborated with a diverse range of artists from Rusangano Family to Farah Elle, culminating in some fantastic tracks, additionally he has remixed songs for the likes of We Cut Corners, Come On Live Long and R.S.A.G. .

Paddy Hanna

Outstanding rock n’ roll sounds from Paddy Hanna with energetic guitars and exceptional songwriting, his most recent album, Frankly, I mutate was released earlier this year to critical acclaim.

Electronic elements fused with electric guitar sounds and exquisite vocals make this band’s music extremely memorable. With the release of their exceptional EP, “Precession” in 2017, the RTE Choice Music Prize winning duo of Simon Cullen and Sorcha Mc Grath, have proven themselves to be a remarkable act.

Sunday 24th June



Hailing from Galway, electronic music producer Daithí, utilises elements of Irish culture   as nature and voice recordings to create his distinctive sound. The stunning “Mary Keane’s Introduction” and “Aeroplane” are just two examples of this multi-talented producer’s work.

Bitch Falcon

Bitch Falcon’s sound is made up of rock, grunge and electro pop to name but a few, songs like “Syncope” and “Wolfstooth” and  cement the bands status as a force to be reckoned with, their music has attitude and they have the talent to match.

Vocalist Jess Kav’s intense, beautiful voice echoes of days gone by, when combined with the musical arrangement, the overall sound becomes more contemporary. Bringing energy and enthusiasm to their performances, the band’s live show is unforgettable.

Wonderful electro – pop from the producer, who also sings and plays the guitar on her tracks. A seasoned performer, Caz9 is well worth seeing live.
