Klara McDonnell – Sinking unknowing

Released on 1st February, “Sinking unknowing” is the new single by Dublin singer-songwriter Klara Mc Donnell.

Klara’s latest offering of folk-pop is melancholic, reminiscent of 60s girl groups and is complimented by her sultry vocal style. She effortlessly switches tempo for the chorus and the sound is evocative of Alison Moyet and The Beautiful South’s Briana Corrigan.

The track is from the perspective of someone who is in romantic limbo, contemplating if they should stay or go, its relatable and there is emotion in the song which is conveyed beautifully.
