The last song you listened to?



 ‘Pieces of me’ the 3rd song on my new EP, listening to new mixes of it!




What is your earliest musical memory?



My dad and uncle playing and singing “American pie” at a house party. there was always sing songs at family occasions.




Do you have a favourite song that was featured in a film or tv show?



Gotta be ‘superfly’ by Curtis Mayfield , the whole soundtrack is the best, the movie now, to watch is just gas.




Is there a song that instantly reminds you of a particular person?



Any Abba song reminds me of my mother, she’s mad about them.




Is there a song whose lyrics resonate with you and why so?



I love the lyrics in “nightride” by The Growlers, it’s just about growing up and finding fulfilment. it came out a perfect time for me.




The band/musician that you grew up listening to?



I was big into NY punk scene growing up, Ramones, Television etc, then the White Stripes came out and that had a huge influence on me.




What song do you wish that you had written and why?



‘3 nights’ by Dominic Fike, only heard it a while ago, but just loved it instantly, it’s super fresh and I love the backing vocals in it.




What song transports you back in time and why?



“Soul brother’ by the Hot Sprockets my old band, just brings me back to that summer we put it out.




Which song makes you sad when you hear it?



“Hurricane” by Neil Young, it just reminds me of my dad he plays it on the piano in a real melancholy way.




Which song makes you happy when you hear it?



“Drop it like it’s hot” by Snoop and Pharrell. what can I say it makes me feel good, Pharrell is one of my fave producers.




What was the first gig you went to?



First proper gig I remember was “Fugazi” in Dublin.




What was the first song that you ever performed?



The song “T-rex” by me, the first song I wrote when I was like 10 or something, sang it to my family, my brother encouraged me! I was mad into dinosaurs, haha.




What was the first album/single that you bought?



Intergalactic by Beastie boys, got mad into them after that.




Is there a song that you always listen to whilst travelling in the car or on the bus/train?



“Let it happen” tame Impala, still my favourite album huge Kevin Parker fan, production and sounds.




Is there a particular song/band/singer that made you want to be a musician?



It was probably Jack White that really made me want to produce and write more.
