Elly D – Lighthouse (Acoustic Version)
Singer-songwriter Elly D has just released the acoustic version of her song “Lighthouse”.
This sorrowful yet beautiful track brings a new organic quality to the original while its heartfelt lyrics continue to impress. Elly’s vocals recall a host of influences such as Debbie Harry and Gemma Hayes and even late 80’s-era Mary Black on occasion.
Elly, who has supported the likes of The Riptide Movement and Aslan this year, had received multiple requests at her live gigs for an acoustic single of “Lighthouse”, so she went back into the studio to record the stripped back rendition of the tune which is now available on all music platforms.
