Single Review – modernlove.
modernlove. – Hard To Tell You
Emerging Drogheda-based act modernlove. have just released their latest single “Hard To Tell You”, a terrific 80’s influenced synth-tinged slice of indie-pop. Depicting someone who struggles with self-expression, with a moving vocal effort from singer Barry Lally, the track deals with real issues but the effect is a rhythmic track that calls to mind post-punk and synth-pop acts like Tears For Fears and Simple Minds.
