The last song you listened to?

All I’ve Ever Known – Bahamas.

What is your earliest musical memory?

Playing the harmony line to Silent Night along with my violin teacher and feeling emotional when I heard the two lines together.

Do you have a favourite song that was featured in a film or tv show?

I think the scene from The Royal Tenenbaums when Elliot Smith’s Needle in the Hay starts playing will stay with me forever.

Is there a song that instantly reminds you of a particular person?

The entire album By The Way by Red Hot Chili Peppers will always remind me of my siblings.

Is there a song whose lyrics resonate with you and why so?

There’s a line in Mick Flannery’s ‘Keepin Score that goes ‘’I’m only asking for the sake of being honest, You don’t have to look at me that way I’m only talkin’’, and I can really just imagine being in that fight in that room.

The band/musician that you grew up listening to?

David Gray mostly.

What song do you wish that you had written and why?

Life is a Song by Patrick Park because it sums up so many feelings in a very clever way and it makes me sad but also reassures me at the same time and I would love to make someone feel that way in a song.

What song transports you back in time and why?

Please Forgive Me by David Gray always puts me back in my room when we lived in Spain for a few years because my aunt sent me the White Ladder album and I remember that song coming on first and I burst out crying whilst also staring at a picture of my cat haha.

Which song makes you sad when you hear it?

My God so many. Seriously like pretty much every song I listen to. Off the top of my head Vincent by Don Mclean but there are hundreds I could name.

Which song makes you happy when you hear it?

Never Going Back Again Fleetwood Mac.

What was the first gig you went to?

Brand New in 2006 and yes I cried for most of it.

What was the first song that you ever performed?

A terrible original of mine called Vodka Mascot.

What was the first album/single that you bought?

Ricky Martins album and no I’m not joking.

Is there a song that you always listen to whilst travelling in the car or on the bus/train ?

Yellow Coldplay.

Is there a particular song/band/singer that made you want to be a musician?

Seeing Avril Lavigne’s video for complicated definitely made me want to own an electric guitar and then once I had one my influences went down a different road haha.
