Pure and Simple by Hearsay

Is there a particular song/band/singer that made you want to be a musician?
Is there a song/band that you love that was introduced to you by someone else?
Is there a song whose lyrics resonate with you and why so?
Failure by Laura Marling. I also dated a musician at the time and felt like I could relate to the dysfunctional relationship and the plight of the egos.
The band/musician that you grew up listening to?
What song do you wish that you had written and why?
Anything by Joni Mitchell, I wish I had the level of craftsmanship that she has. I’m never bored of her music.
What song transports you back in time and why?
The Jurrasic Park theme song, in fact any soundtrack music from my childhood. Reminds me of feeling safe and entertained on my parent’s couch.
Which song makes you dance when you hear it?
I Wanna Dance With Somebody – Whitney Houston
Which song makes you sad when you hear it?
Fire & Rain by James Taylor
What was the first gig you went to?
Hearsay in the Point
What was the first song that you ever performed?
Probably King of the Swingers from the Jungle Book or maybe Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid. I mean, most likely Baa Baa Black Sheep or Old McDonald if we are getting literal! Or even Happy Birthday!
